Campaign Risk Specialist

As a seasoned campaigner, you will navigate risks in the context of climate change, anti-democracy, and dis/misinformation.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the role as our organisation expands its risk management operations. You will work closely with our Global Risk Team, Risk Manager, and Risk Associate to embed strong risk practices within the design and delivery of impactful campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:- Engage with campaigns at various stages to provide a risk management perspective.
- Offer guidance on campaign materials and direction to internal teams and partners, focusing on compliance and safety risks.
- Determine the appropriate escalation path for high-risk activity, collaborating with the Risk Manager and Executive teams.
- Support teams in risk identification, assessment, and monitoring for projects during planning and implementation.
- Review policies and procedures to identify process gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Operationalise and support internal governance processes related to managing campaign risks.
- You have experience in campaigns and risk management, preferably in an international environment or an organisation with a global footprint.
- You possess strong cross-cultural experience and communication skills.
- You have a solid understanding of risk management methodologies and adaptability.
- You are an excellent communicator, able to build relationships across all levels and effectively communicate and manage interpersonal relationships.
- You are fluent in written and spoken English, with additional languages being an asset.
- You have a genuine interest in addressing climate change and a commitment to an inclusive and empowering approach.
