Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Linux system engineer to join our team. As an L3 Linux System Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our hosting platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Escalation & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex server, hosting, and network-related issues.
  • Linux Server Administration: Manage, optimize, and secure Linux-based hosting environments; administer and fine-tune web servers, databases, and caching layers.
  • Automation & DevOps: Develop and maintain automation scripts for server provisioning and configuration management.
  • Cloud & Virtualization: Deploy and manage KVM, OpenStack, VMware, or containerized environments.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, including firewall rules, SELinux/AppArmor, IDS/IPS.
  • Monitoring & Incident Response: Set up and manage monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, Nagios.
Requirements:
  • 11+ years of hands-on Linux system administration experience in a web hosting or cloud environment.
  • 7+ years of experience in a Senior position or Level 3 Engineer role.
  • MUST be a Libvirt expert with a minimum of 7+ yrs of experience.
  • Expert knowledge of web hosting technologies, strong scripting ability, and networking expertise.
  • Familiarity with RAID, SAN, NAS, and distributed storage systems.
  • Certifications such as RHCE, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or Kubernetes (CKA) are a plus.
  • Good English communication skills.
