About the Role

The Cloud Native Operations Expert works closely with cloud platform engineering, architecture, and development teams to run and operate cloud-native, DevOps delivered, highly scalable and fault-tolerant systems and services. The expert ensures that internally and externally facing systems meet and exceed ambitious SLAs and are continuously improved.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supports infrastructure operations and engineering concepts in AWS and Azure, and IT tools (monitoring, logging, alerting, Service Now, etc.).
  • Develops strategic problem-solving skills, analytical ability, and decision-making capacity with a sense of urgency; demonstrated experience in a production environment.
  • Built expertise in measuring and continuously improving with a metrics-and-reporting mindset.
  • Experience building, maintaining, monitoring, logging, and optimizing cloud-native business solutions.
  • Expertise in Terraform, Kubernetes environments (AKS/EKS), GitHub Actions libraries, and scripting (Bash, Python, etc.).
  • Experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
  • Experience with DevOps (CI/CD) tools and patterns; Data DevOps, DevSecOps (container scanning, CVE remediation, etc.).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
