We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Controller to join our team. As a key member of our financial leadership, you will play a vital role in driving our financial success and growth.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly financial close processes, including reconciliations and reports.
  • Financial Statements: Deliver high-quality financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow) on time, every time.
  • Compliance and Accuracy: Maintain zero material errors in financial reporting and comply with GAAP standards.
  • Cash Flow Management: Optimize cash flow management by maintaining accurate forecasts and projections.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Streamline accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Lead regulatory and tax compliance efforts, ensuring 100% audit readiness and no major findings or compliance issues.
  • Cost Savings: Identify and execute cost-saving opportunities, achieving at least $50,000 in annual savings without compromising quality.

Success Metrics:
  1. Timely Financial Reporting: Accurate and timely financial reporting.
  2. Zero Errors: Zero material errors in financial data and reporting.
  3. Full Compliance: Full compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  4. Improved Cash Flow: Improved cash flow visibility and management.
  5. Increased Efficiency: Increased efficiency and effectiveness in financial processes.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
  • Leadership Experience: 5+ years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Process Improvement: Proven track record in process improvement and cost savings.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in eCommerce or retail is a strong advantage.
