Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Receivable Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all charges and credits to various accounts, demonstrating exceptional communication skills and analytical mindset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurate Computation and Entry: Precise calculation and recording of travel agent commissions in a timely manner.
  • Mailing and Follow-up: Timely dispatching of accounts, statements, and follow-up letters to guests and clients.
  • Overdue Accounts: Providing necessary information regarding outstanding accounts to facilitate prompt settlement.
  • Advance Deposits: Maintaining control and balancing of advance deposits to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Guest Queries and Disputes: Responding promptly to guest queries and resolving account disputes in a professional manner.
Administrative Tasks
  • Duties Performed: Carrying out tasks to the best of ability, adhering to established standards and protocols.
  • Incident Reporting: Reporting unusual incidents, guest complaints, and losses to relevant authorities.
  • Training and Development: Attending briefings, meetings, and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Cost-Saving Initiatives: Identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives on guest supplies and services.
Technical Skills
  • Work-Related Knowledge: Familiarity with work-related items, such as consumable items and forms.
  • Equipment and Tools: Equipping with necessary working tools and equipment to perform duties efficiently.
  • Greeting Guests: Greeting guests and colleagues politely, fostering a positive and welcoming environment.
  • Skill Development: Developing skills and ideas to improve tasks and experiences, enhancing overall performance.
Commercial Expectations
  • Effective Communication: Engaging in effective communication with guests, clients, and staff to promote a seamless service experience.

Requirements
  • Vocational Diploma: Holding a high vocational diploma in Accounting or a related field.
  • Accounting Experience: Possessing a minimum of 1 year of accounting experience, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrating good communication skills in written and spoken English, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
