Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to oversee and manage the daily financial operations of our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with industry standards, and effective implementation of accounting procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Reviewing and monitoring daily transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  2. Supervising the performance of accounting personnel to maintain high productivity levels.
  3. Filing all BIR tax returns in accordance with regulations.
  4. Participating in tax audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  5. Preparing schedules and analysis of all accounts for strategic decision-making.
  6. Ensuring that accounting and financial objectives are met and all operations comply with legal regulations.
  7. Orienting and training new accounting employees to enhance team efficiency.
  8. Designing employee schedules, coaching, counseling, mentoring, and disciplining employees as necessary.
  9. Contributing financial data to business plans, strategic plans, and reviews to ensure alignment with accounting operational standards.
  10. Preparing monthly and annual accounting reports to stakeholders.
  11. Providing support to the Comptroller in achieving organizational goals.
  12. Performing various tasks as required to meet business needs.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; certification such as CMA or CPA is desirable.
  2. At least 3 years' experience in an Accounting Supervisor position.
  3. Profound experience with bookkeeping and accounting procedures.
  4. Practical experience with accounting software, such as ERP and NAV.
  5. Excellent knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, best practices, and related legal regulations.
  6. Advanced experience with MS Office, particularly with MS Excel.
  7. Strong analytical skills and ability to define priorities effectively.
  8. Accuracy and close attention to details in work delivery.
