Customer Engagement Manager

The role of a Customer Engagement Manager is to oversee the development and execution of email marketing campaigns that drive customer retention and revenue growth. This involves creating comprehensive email and SMS marketing strategies for various customer segments, focusing on acquisition, retention, and re-engagement tactics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Campaign Creation: Design and implement effective email and SMS marketing campaigns, encompassing various customer segments, with the aim of driving customer engagement and retention.
  • Email Database Management: Manage email databases, including list building, segmentation, and personalisation, to maximise deliverability and engagement rates.
  • Create Compelling Content: Develop compelling email content, including subject lines, copy, and HTML templates, that align with brand guidelines and drive conversions.
  • Deliverability and Compliance: Monitor email deliverability, manage sender reputation, and ensure compliance with email marketing regulations.
Flows/Automations:
  • Setup and Create Flows: Establish and create Flows briefed in by the CRM team, including filters, draft email/SMS messages, time delays, and property profile updates.
  • Review Flow Performance: Regularly review Flow performance and report back on any insights and optimisations.
Optimisations:
  • A/B Testing: Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, send times, and design elements to continuously improve campaign performance.
  • Automated Email Sequences: Build and optimise automated email sequences, including welcome series, abandoned cart recovery, post-purchase follow-ups, and re-engagement campaigns.
QA/Testing:
  • Error-Free Campaigns: Ensure all email and SMS campaigns and templates are error-free.
  • Template Testing: Test email templates in Litmus to ensure they render across devices.
  • Valid Links and Images: Ensure all email and SMS flow/campaign messages have valid links, images, and fall-back alt text.
General Klaviyo Management:
  • Template Design: Create and build email templates designed in Figma using Klaviyo's drag-and-drop builder.
  • Client Integration: Assist with the creation of sign-up forms (flyouts, popups, embed forms) and review/ set up client tech stack integrations in Klaviyo.
  • Segmentation Setup: Provide support with segmentation setup based on purchasing behaviour and email/SMS engagement.
Reporting:
  • Analytics Reporting: Provide detailed analytics and performance reporting on email campaigns, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI metrics.
