Job Description:

 

The role of Credit Analyst is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work in the Card Lending Services team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for underwriting new applications and existing corporate liability credit requests with a focus on credit quality and risk assessment.

You will have the opportunity to develop strong working relationships with internal partners such as Business Bankers, Business Development, and Risk Policy.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Underwrite commercial requests for lines of moderate to large size and complexity with limited guidance
  • Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external customers and with various levels of management
  • Collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Adapt to changing volumes and areas of focus (new applications versus portfolio reviews versus initiation of collections, etc.)
  • Investigate, recommend, and initiate process improvements

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

 

Commercial credit lending experience

Commercial credit card lending experience

Computer skills specific to Microsoft products and proprietary systems

Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline

Successful completion of a major corporate bank commercial training program or the equivalent corporate banking/corporate finance or accounting experience

  • Ability to multitask using a computer and simultaneously provide customer support
  • Master's degree in a business-related discipline
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, consistently changing environment
