Job Title: Senior Security Specialist

Job Description:

The Senior Security Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving the growth of our Consulting practice by delivering high-quality projects and providing exceptional customer support.

This position reports directly to the Head of GRC and is responsible for contributing thought leadership to customers and the wider team. The successful candidate will assist the Head of GRC in meeting specific financial targets for the Consulting division through effective account management and engagement with customers.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Security Specialist who can leverage their deep technical and security knowledge to champion our organization's cyber security program. This includes both strategic and BAU projects and deliverables, ensuring alignment with best practice security methodologies and industry standards.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head of GRC in planning, coordinating, and performing regular security reviews and assessments of enterprise IT systems and applications. They will also monitor security events, triage alerts, and coordinate response actions to any security incidents that may arise.

The Senior Security Specialist will work closely with relevant partners to issue third-party service provider risk assessments using relative frameworks. They will also follow up on risk mitigation and remediation actions and maintain up-to-date records of third-party risks.

In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for evangelizing security best practices into the market and supporting clients to become more secure and productive. They will build lasting relationships with customers and collaborate with the Sales team to provide pre- and post-sales consulting support.
