Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily Operations: Coordinate and schedule appointments, manage calendars, and maintain accurate records.
  • Patient Communication: Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers, including relaying messages and scheduling follow-up appointments.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date medical records, including patient histories and treatment plans. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Billing and Coding Support: Assist in coding procedures and diagnoses accurately for billing purposes. Collaborate with the billing department to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Medication and Prescription Management: Manage prescription refills, coordinate with pharmacies, and obtain prior authorizations when necessary.
  • Team Collaboration: Engage in virtual team meetings and collaborate with colleagues to coordinate patient care and administrative tasks effectively.
  • Data Entry and Organization: Input patient information into electronic health record (EHR) systems accurately and efficiently. Organize medical records to ensure easy retrieval and accessibility.
  • Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility for medical services. Communicate with insurance providers to obtain necessary authorizations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, proficiency in English communication, and an understanding of HIPAA regulations. They must also be able to work effectively in a remote setting and adapt to changing circumstances.
