Assistant Controller Role

Arbour Group is seeking a skilled Assistant Controller to join their client's organization, a leading elevator and escalator consulting and inspection firm in the U.S. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the monthly close process to generate financial reports on a GAAP basis.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct account analysis and prepare account reconciliations in collaboration with the company Controller.
  • Work closely with the company Controller to upload financial reports to the FRP package managed through Vena consolidation software each month, comparing results to budget and prior periods on both a GAAP and EBITDA adjusted basis.
  • Manage revenue methods similar to those in the A&E industry, recording work-in-progress monthly based on reports, including hourly Time Card and Lump Sum projects.
  • Prepare budgets for each entity and consolidated basis, working closely with the CFO, controller, and FPA team to ensure seamless integration into company systems and banking.
  • Focus on entities recently acquired by the company to manage their monthly close, bank reconciliations, budgets, and internal controls as they integrate into company systems and banking.
