Instructional Design Specialist

Job Overview

This role involves leading the creation of engaging learning materials and courses, applying instructional design expertise to drive team efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team in developing comprehensive curricula and educational content, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and learner needs.
  • Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously, including resource allocation, timeline management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify learning needs and work with cross-functional teams to develop tailored learning solutions.
  • Apply various instructional design models and methodologies to create interactive and engaging learning experiences, maximizing knowledge transfer and skill acquisition.
  • Implement multimedia elements and assessments in learning materials to enhance learner engagement and knowledge retention.
Required Skills
  • Leadership and Coaching: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively, fostering collaboration and growth.
  • Instructional Design Expertise: Proficiency in applying pedagogical principles to develop effective learning experiences.
  • Curriculum Development: Ability to design and develop comprehensive curricula that align with organizational goals and learner needs.
  • Evaluation and Assessment: Proficiency in creating and implementing effective assessment strategies to measure learning outcomes and training effectiveness.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge in relevant learning management systems and e-learning authoring tools and technologies.
Education and Certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Certification in instructional design or e-learning development is advantageous.
