PHP/Laravel Developer - Demand-Side Platform

This is a high-profile role that involves leading the development and deployment of a DSP platform to support real-time bidding and programmatic advertising needs.

  • DSP Development: The successful candidate will lead the development of a scalable DSP platform to handle high-volume bidding and auction interactions with various Supply-Side Platforms (SSPs).
  • Backend Development: This role requires designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable PHP code using Laravel and related frameworks.
  • Integration and Communication: The developer will develop integrations between our DSP and various SSPs for seamless ad placements.
  • Technical Collaboration: Collaboration with in-house and offshore teams, including PHP, Laravel, and data-heavy Python teams, is essential to align development with data utilization requirements.
  • Code Quality and Testing: Ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications; identifying bottlenecks and bugs and devising solutions to mitigate and address these issues is crucial.
  • Scalability and Efficiency: Creating robust systems that ensure a cost-effective bidding process for DSP usage, leveraging platform efficiencies, is vital.
Requirements
  • Experience:
    • At least 5 years of experience with PHP and expertise in Laravel.
    • Proven experience with DSPs, programmatic advertising, or real-time bidding technologies.
    • Familiarity with integrations and interactions with SSPs, CTV, and other programmatic advertising protocols.
    • Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other front-end technologies.
  • Preferred Skills:
    • Experience in Python for data-heavy applications is desirable.
    • Knowledge of marketing technology platforms, particularly in OTT/CTV environments.
