Accounting Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a key member of the accounting team, you will report to the Global Controller and take ownership of accounting at several portfolio companies.

This role involves acting as a consultant to the portfolio company management team, providing assistance with the month-end close, financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, forecasting, and finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire month-end close process for multiple companies.
  • Record bank transactions and reconcile bank accounts.
  • Prepare general ledger entries and maintain accurate records and files.
  • Assist with monthly general ledger reconciliations and contribute to the development of new accounting systems, programs, controls, and procedures.
  • Provide research support on technical accounting issues and document findings in accounting memorandums.
  • Assist with monthly intercompany consolidation of financial information between parent and subsidiaries.
  • Prepare for annual audit and interact effectively with auditors.
  • Manage corporate credit card programs and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
  • Master's degree in related field and/or CPA preferred.
  • At least 6 years' experience in accounting required.
  • Experience working with US companies essential.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong relationship skills and ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • QuickBooks Online and Xero experience beneficial.
