Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Azeus Systems Limited. This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

About the Role:

  • We will provide onsite training for prior experience not required, so fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • You will be responsible for identifying, mitigating, and preventing potential production issues early in the development process.
  • Your duties will include performing various regression testing processes, such as feature QC, platform QC, bulk test, completeness test, interruption test, resource usage test, network connection test, translation testing, etc.
  • You will collaborate with leads and other team members to determine testing priorities, effort estimates, and track and report progress.
  • Additionally, you will write regression test plans, test cases, and usage scenarios to be used for testing and other documentations as required.
  • You will also prepare the test environment and test data.
  • In this role, you will assist in the implementation of testing improvement initiatives, such as automated testing.
  • You will consolidate test results into clear and concise reports.
  • Furthermore, you will create and track tickets for issues on functionality, usability, performance, reliability, and stability issues.
  • You will work closely with test designers to report and verify any functional issues discovered during testing.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience not required, onsite training shall be provided.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in working in a software development project or environment.
  • Experience in using mobile devices, specifically iOS (iPads, iPhones), Android (tablets, phones), Windows (desktop, Surface Pro) and / or Mac (MacBook, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, Mac Mini, iMac, Mac Pro).
  • Experience in any software quality control processes and procedures.
  • Exposure to software / hardware / network technologies.

Skill Requirements:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Computer Science / Engineering / Programming, Information Technology, Information Systems related course; or Bachelors degree in any course but willing to pursue a career in IT.
  • A proactive, resilient individual with a positive attitude who is motivated to succeed.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, accuracy and attention to details.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year
