Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role:

Azeus Systems Limited is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of our software products.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and mitigate potential production issues early in the development process to prevent defects and improve overall product quality.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of product features to create clear and detailed testing requirements.
  • Perform various regression testing processes, including feature QC, platform QC, bulk test, completeness test, interruption test, resource usage test, network connection test, and translation testing.
  • Collaborate with leads and other team members to determine testing priorities, effort estimates, and track progress.
  • Create regression test plans, test cases, and usage scenarios for testing and documentation purposes.
  • Prepare the test environment and test data for efficient testing.
  • Assist in implementing testing improvement initiatives, such as automated testing.
  • Consolidate test results into clear and concise reports for stakeholders.
  • Create and track tickets for functionality, usability, performance, reliability, and stability issues.
  • Work closely with test designers to report and verify any functional issues discovered during testing.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience is not required; onsite training will be provided.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a software development project or environment.
  • Proficiency in using mobile devices, specifically iOS (iPads, iPhones), Android (tablets, phones), Windows (desktop, Surface Pro) and / or Mac (MacBook, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, Mac Mini, iMac, Mac Pro).
  • Experience in software quality control processes and procedures.
  • Exposure to software / hardware / network technologies.

Skill Requirements:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Computer Science / Engineering / Programming, Information Technology, Information Systems related course; or Bachelors degree in any course but willing to pursue a career in IT.
  • A proactive, resilient individual with a positive attitude who is motivated to succeed.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, accuracy and attention to details.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is around $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
