We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general ledger accounting and a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.

About the Role

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.

  • Lead the financial close process, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet/income statement
  • Oversee the performance of the accounting team and work with senior management on cash burn reporting
  • Coordinate and communicate with the AP team regarding accounting transactions
  • Manage fixed assets, prepaid accounts, payroll and benefits, accrued income taxes and all other accrued liabilities
  • Prepare, record and reconcile all long term debt accounts such as notes payable, deferred financing fees and accrued interest
  • Perform intercompany elimination, allocations and consolidations
  • Manage and report on all cash accounts
  • Draft policies and procedures and document all accounting principles and procedural recommendations
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP and financial regulations
  • Advanced Excel skills, including vLookups, Pivot Tables, etc.
  • Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3+ years of managerial experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities
