Job Title: Financial Operations Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the entire accounting team to ensure efficient financial operations.
  • Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial transaction processing for timely and accurate results.
  • Lead bank reconciliation processes, financial statement reviews, and review vendor & utility bill postings.
  • Develop and implement strategic financial policies ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and mentor team members for skill development and career advancement.
  • Handle complex financial queries from clients addressing bookkeeping concerns and pending transactions effectively.
  • Ensure accuracy in AP pay runs, payroll processing via Intuit/Gusto, and owner/investor distributions.
  • Oversee financial reporting, including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and budget analysis.
  • Manage move-out accounting, journal entries, accruals, and HUD statement entries efficiently.
  • Coordinate management fee pulls and prepare financial reports for owners.
  • Collaborate with leadership to optimize financial workflows and enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain high standards of client communication, ensuring clarity and professionalism in all financial correspondence.
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Appfolio, Buildium, Yardi, and RentManager efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of financial principles and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership and supervisory experience in accounting teams.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks Online.
