Data Operations Specialist

  • Reliable data flows are critical to our business. The Data Operations Specialist will ensure the accuracy and reliability of data across our systems.
About This Role:
  • This position plays a key role in implementing and monitoring integrations between platforms, ensuring that our data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • The ideal candidate has experience with system integrations and data modeling, and can troubleshoot operational issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Integration Monitoring & Maintenance: Regularly review and maintain the health of our business systems integrations to identify potential issues early on.
  2. Implementation & Quality Assurance: Implement new features and integrations, developing suitable quality assurance plans to ensure seamless execution.
  3. Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Investigate operational issues and resolve them promptly, working closely with technical teams and operations staff.
  4. Data Management: Manage SQL-based data procurement and transmission, ensuring high standards of data integrity and security.
  5. Operational Analysis: Analyze system performance and data flows to detect anomalies, inefficiencies or opportunities for improvement.
  6. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of operational processes, safeguarding against future loss or misinterpretation.
  7. Administrative Tasks: Assist with data entry and cleaning tasks as needed to fix, deploy, or maintain integrations.
  8. Collaboration & Communication: Provide excellent service and communication to internal stakeholders and team members, building strong relationships and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • SQL Fluency: Strong ability to create efficient, comprehensible, and resilient code for complex data manipulation steps.
  • System Integrations: Experience with business systems integrations, data modeling, and data pipelines, including APIs and ETL concepts.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to assess operational data flows critically, investigate anomalies, and identify root causes of system issues.
  • Attention to Detail: High sensitivity to edge cases and precision tasks such as mass updates, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Capacity to approach challenges with innovation and resilience, delivering effective solutions consistently.
  • Adaptability: Ability to rapidly understand new business contexts and independently identify next actions with minimal direction.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to translate operational needs into actionable tasks and communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
