Job Overview

As a senior software engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and maintenance of complex systems. Our team is responsible for creating cutting-edge solutions that power the global enterprise and technology markets.

  • Key responsibilities include designing, delivering, and supporting features in highly concurrent and distributed systems.

Our engineers work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and services. This includes collaborating proactively with distributed teams, debugging issues, interacting with upstream communities publicly, working with experts in various fields, discussing ideas, and finding innovative solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven track record of professional software delivery using Go programming language.
  • Hands-on experience developing highly concurrent and distributed systems.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, especially in online environments.
  • Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university.
  • Experience with agile software development methodologies.

The following skills are beneficial but not mandatory:

  • Experience with container technologies (Docker, LXD, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of low-level programming languages (C, C++, Rust).
  • Solid networking background and experience.
  • Experience in the Linux and open-source software world.
  • Understanding of configuration management software (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
  • Working knowledge of cloud computing.
  • Passionate about software quality and testing.
  • Experience with packaging (Debian, snaps).
  • Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience working on a distributed team on an open source project.
  • Demonstrated track record of Open Source contributions.
