Job Title: Backend Software Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Architect to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable and secure backend services.

You will collaborate with our Product Owner and Architect to define specifications and design solutions that meet the needs of our clients. Your expertise in Java development, including knowledge of Spring Boot and JPA, GraphQL, Liquibase, and Spring Security, will be crucial in delivering high-quality solutions.

As a senior developer, you will contribute to the development of high-performance architecture, establish software design patterns, and lead development teams. You will also drive best coding practices, maintain high code quality through Unit and Integration tests, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior team members.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack Java development, experience with microservices using modern technologies such as Apache Kafka, REST APIs, containerization (Kubernetes), and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure). Knowledge of testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito is also essential.

Additionally, you will stay informed about emerging trends in banking technology, digital assets, and blockchain. We offer a collaborative and flexible work environment that empowers our colleagues to reach their full potential.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of development experience preferred with a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering
  • Full-stack Java development experience (Java 17+) including knowledge of common tooling such as Spring Boot and JPA, GraphQL, Liquibase, and Spring Security
  • Advanced proficiency in RESTful API building
  • Knowledge of traditional software development processes and tools, including Git, Gradle, and Jenkins CI tool, JIRA, Confluence, Code Reviews
  • Hands-on experience developing microservices using modern technologies such as Apache Kafka, REST APIs, containerization (Kubernetes), and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure)
  • Testing frameworks: JUnit, Mockito
  • Basic Linux operating system knowledge
  • Authentication and security over REST protocol
