Senior Software Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, with a strong background in Python and CSS.

  • This role involves designing and building full-stack applications within AWS infrastructure, utilizing Python, React, and containerization best practices (e.g., Docker, ECS, EKS).
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality, scalable, and innovative applications that meet the needs of our clients.

About the Role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on complex projects, collaborating closely with software engineers, architects, and stakeholders to gather and understand business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing Python-based solutions with a focus on REST APIs, pass-through middleware services, and occasional ETL pipelines.
  • Designing and building full-stack applications within AWS infrastructure, utilizing Python, React, and containerization best practices.
  • Creating, implementing, and maintaining well-documented Python APIs and managing pass-through data integrations.
  • Providing technical guidance on API development and leading efforts around data migration from legacy systems.
  • Collaborating closely with software engineers, architects, and stakeholders to gather and understand business and technical requirements.
