Job Title: Data Protection Specialist

This role supports the global privacy and compliance team in ensuring adherence to regulatory data protection and privacy requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain a current understanding of international data privacy laws and regulations.
  2. Conduct annual data inventory, performing risk assessments and reviews.
  3. Manage inquiries received in the privacy mailbox, providing consultation or escalating as needed.
  4. Perform vendor evaluations to assess regulatory risks associated with third-party onboarding.
  5. Collaborate with business lines to identify risk areas and determine control measures.
  6. Draft and/or maintain company policies and procedures related to data protection.
  7. Assist in reviewing changes to applicable laws and regulations and interpreting their impact.
  8. Support ongoing awareness programs and training initiatives.
  9. Assist with procedures to address data subject access requests.
