Knowledge Base Content Owner

As a Knowledge Base Content Owner, you will be responsible for creating, optimizing and maintaining our knowledge base content to empower customers to self-serve while enabling internal teams to move faster with confidence.

About the Role:

You will partner with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Engineers, Customer Support, Rev Ops, and Customer Success to ensure our knowledge ecosystem is accurate, current and discoverable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research, write and develop new and updated knowledge base articles, FAQs, troubleshooting guides, snippets and internal enablement documents.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers to deeply understand new features and translate technical details into clear customer-ready content.
  • Collaborate with Support, Customer Success and Enablement teams to capture recurring issues, identify knowledge gaps and improve internal workflows.
  • Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate drafting, auditing and surfacing weak or duplicate content.
  • Conduct recurring content audits to ensure the knowledge base remains accurate, current and discoverable.
  • Mentor junior writers, sharing best practices for technical writing, SEO and AI adoption.
  • Drive the creation and execution of release notes and documentation plans tied to product launches.
  • Provide training/reference content to accelerate onboarding and upskilling of internal employees.
Requirements:
  • Candidates should have endless curiosity, be customer-obsessed and comfortable straddling the worlds of technical detail and clear simple explanation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with SMEs and explain technical concepts.
  • Strong collaboration and partnership-building skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Prior experience as a Technical Writer in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in CMS platforms, analytics dashboards, structured authoring systems, Git, HTML and docs-as-code.
