Job Overview

This role is responsible for leading a team of technical support engineers across time zones, providing operational excellence and technical quality of service. The successful candidate will be directly responsible for the growth and effectiveness of their team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a high-performing team of technical support engineers in delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Mentor and coach engineers through technical and non-technical challenges to drive personal and professional development
  • Manage scheduling, coverage, escalations, and rotation planning to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Promote accountability, learning, and consistency within the team to foster a culture of excellence
  • Drive continuous improvement in operations and service delivery through data-driven insights and best practices
Requirements
  • Ability to work effectively across time zones and cultures with a customer-centric mindset
  • Prior experience as a technical support engineer or database administrator with a strong foundation in Linux and open source databases
  • Proven track record of managing or leading remote or globally distributed teams with a focus on collaboration and communication
