Healthcare Outreach Specialist - Remote Opportunity

A fast-paced clinical research company is seeking a skilled Healthcare Outreach Specialist to own and run site outreach campaigns. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and executing doctor outreach campaigns for clinical trial site activation.

The successful applicant will be responsible for researching and filtering doctors, using tools like Google Search, NPI Registry, and Definitive Healthcare. They will also use clinical judgment and U.S. standard of care research to identify the right specialists and exclude poor fits.

The Healthcare Outreach Specialist will build targeting frameworks using CPT, ICD-10, and claims logic, QA all lists before launch, and create SOPs and research playbooks to standardize repeatable outreach.

They will write and iterate outreach emails that drive replies, manage outreach coordinator(s), run email sequences in Mixmax or similar tools, and track outreach performance in Airtable or CRM.

The ultimate goal is to continuously improve the system, spot issues, propose fixes, and implement improvements.

We are looking for a systems-minded operator who understands how doctors work, knows how to reverse-engineer who's seeing the right patients, and can filter them.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and executing doctor outreach campaigns for clinical trial site activation
  • Researching and filtering doctors using tools like Google Search, NPI Registry, and Definitive Healthcare
  • Using clinical judgment and U.S. standard of care research to identify the right specialists and exclude poor fits
  • Building targeting frameworks using CPT, ICD-10, and claims logic
  • QA all lists before launch
  • Creating SOPs and research playbooks to standardize repeatable outreach

Requirements include:

  • Experience in running high-context outreach campaigns in healthcare, clinical research, or healthtech
  • Understanding of how doctors actually work, including specialties function, referrals, and the U.S. system delivers care
  • Ability to reverse-engineer who's seeing the right patients and filter them
  • Systems-driven approach, building playbooks, workflows, and logic trees
  • Capability to manage junior staff (coordinators, VAs, SDRs) and get the best out of them
  • Excellent written communication skills, able to write persuasive outreach copy
  • Comfortable using Airtable, ChatGPT, Mixmax, Google Sheets, or lightweight CRMs
  • Spotting failure patterns early and fixing them before they escalate
