Job Opportunity

This role presents a chance to support patients at the beginning of their care journey. You will be working with new patient referrals, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.

The successful candidate will verify insurance eligibility and maintain referral logs up-to-date. Additionally, they will upload, track, and organize medical documents in the system.

The ideal candidate will have experience in insurance verification and authorization. They should also possess knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, and referral/authorization processes.

A strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills are essential for this position. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and comfort with EMR systems are also required.

Professional communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure are necessary for success in this role.

Bonus: Prior physical therapy or healthcare experience would be beneficial.

About This Role
  • Process new patient referrals and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Verify insurance eligibility and keep referral logs updated.
  • Upload, track, and organize medical documents in the system.
  • Coordinate with patients, providers, and internal teams via phone, chat, and email.
  • Handle faxes, tasks, and provider requests promptly and with precision.
  • Keep patients on schedule by ensuring evaluation appointments are set up correctly.
  • Help maintain smooth team communication through daily updates.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in insurance verification and authorization.
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, and referral/authorization processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management.
