
Senior Commercial Insurance Representative

A vital contributor to the success of our commercial insurance department, responsible for delivering exceptional service to current clients and attracting new ones.
- Collaborate with agency producers to develop tailored proposals.
- Utilize industry expertise to quote policies with top-rated carriers such as Auto-Owners, Liberty Mutual, The Hartford, and West Bend.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of products and markets.
The ideal candidate will focus on client retention and sales growth by cross-selling and expanding existing accounts. They will provide personalized service to existing clients through in-person, email, or telephone interactions by preparing renewals, remarketing accounts, processing claims, and making policy changes.
- Quote and issue new policies.
- Issue Certificates of Insurance.
- Provide Evidence of Property Insurance.
- Offer Evidence of Homeowners Insurance for Mortgage Companies
- Retrieve remarketing logs.
- Enter renewal premiums into remarketing logs.
- Remarket Personal Lines Ez Lynx insurance.
Requirements:
Insurance Knowledge & Experience- 5-7 years of experience in Commercial Lines Insurance (desired).
- Strong comprehension of Property & Casualty insurance policies, coverages, and products.
- Familiarity with Independent Insurance Agency operations.
- Proficiency in quoting policies with major carriers (Auto-Owners, Liberty Mutual, The Hartford, West Bend).
- Excellent spoken and written English skills (articulate and friendly).
- Experience handling customer inquiries, policy changes, and claims assistance.
- Ability to professionally manage and respond to phone calls and emails.
- Strong listening skills and ability to handle objections or concerns effectively.
- Experience working with Western clients or teams.
- Ability to recognize opportunities for cross-selling or upselling policies.
- Persuasive communication skills to offer additional products where appropriate.
- Ability to manage certificates of insurance, evidence of property insurance, and homeowners insurance documentation.
- Experience with remarketing logs and tracking renewals.
- Proficiency in processing claims, renewals, and policy modifications.
- Experience with agency management systems (e.g., Partners XE).
- Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- Familiarity with quoting platforms like Ez Lynx for remarketing.
- Ability to accurately process multiple tasks under deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure quality and compliance.
- Ability to work independently while ensuring alignment with company SLAs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex insurance issues.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions.
- A proactive approach to learning and adapting to new tasks as outsourcing expands.
