Claims Coordinator

As a Dental Claims Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service while upholding our commitment to quality and integrity.
- Claim Management: You will be responsible for managing and processing claims, resolving issues, and providing support to our clients.
- Communication: Ensure that all follow-ups are properly documented and communicated by adding a notation to the patient's account using the track stat and commlog.
- Claims Submission: Send out claims and attachments to insurance companies in a timely manner.
- Denial Resolution: Determine denial validity and address them promptly.
- Reporting: Generate OI reports and ensure monthly completion.
- Claim Resubmission: Perform claim resubmission and reprocessing, including grievance and appeals.
- Rejected Claim Clearance: Clear rejected claims on a weekly basis.
- Office Tracker Updates: Update the weekly office tracker to include all payments posted (check scans and EFTs) and if all rejected claims were addressed.
- Follow-up Completion: Complete all follow-ups assigned on the office spreadsheets.
- EFT Reports: Generate EFT reports and retrieve EOBs from insurance portals for posting 100%.
- Insurance Payment Posting: Post insurance payments following office preference, always uploading EOBs and applying corrections as needed.
- Process Updates: Identify any insurance process updates/issues and communicate findings with the team, ensuring insurances are open while working.
- Professional Conduct: Remain professional at all times, observing work ethics and adhering to the work time schedule.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong Communication Skills: Possess a strong command of verbal and written English and interpersonal skills with little to no accent when speaking.
- Industry Experience: Have a background in the dental insurance or collections industries.
- Hands-on Collections Experience: Possess 3+ years of hands-on collections experience.
- Motivation and Organization: Be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as this is a remote position.
- Time Management and Follow-up Skills: Possess outstanding organizational, time management, and follow-up skills.
