Job Description:

As a Research and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for driving innovation and product development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and improvement of products within your assigned category.
  • Conduct product research, experimental design, and action planning for new and improved offerings.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including formulations, processes, and revision histories.
  • Manage the creation and updates of Bill of Materials (BOM) in SAP.

Quality & Process Standardization

  • Develop gold quality standards, packaging specifications, and process parameters.
  • Ensure seamless technology transfer to manufacturing sites and outsource suppliers.
  • Standardize formulations and processes across all production locations.
  • Validate data and review existing standards for continuous improvement.

Technical Support & Collaboration

  • Recommend equipment upgrades, process improvements, and alternative raw materials.
  • Provide timely updates on project progress and development activities.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and provide technical assistance on R&D matters.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and commercial readiness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology or any related field.
  • At least 1 year relevant experience in research and development function in a food manufacturing industry is an advantage but fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Willng to be assigned in Calamba, Laguna.
