A Package Engineer leads the development of innovative packaging solutions. These solutions must meet design, quality, cost, and functionality objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing packaging specifications to ensure high-quality products are produced efficiently.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including marketing, R&D, manufacturing, project managers, supply chain functions, and suppliers.
- Leading commercialization activities and ensuring timely delivery of new products.
- Supporting the company's research and development department and championing its values and vision.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field such as engineering or science is preferred.
- 5 years of experience in FMCG, supply chain, or technical/commercial functions is beneficial.
- Strong skills in product and package development, project management, and communication are required.
- Experience working in an international team environment and leading matrix teams is essential.
- A proactive problem solver with the ability to recommend creative solutions and identify value engineering projects.
