Job Role: Technical Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Market Development Strategy
    • Engage with customers to promote company technologies and processes.
    • Participate in industry events to identify customer needs and expectations.
    • Work closely with the Business Development team to align sales strategies with marketing efforts.
    • Support project pipeline development.
  • Tender Support and Proposal Management
    • Manage tender preparation and submission documents.
    • Ensure alignment between commercial/sales teams and Proposal Production Center.
    • Create winning proposal strategies for successful bids.
    • Support bid review and technical-commercial compliance.
  • Technical Support and Customer Engagement
    • Provide technical guidance to clients, addressing application or experimentation challenges.
    • Manage complex technical support aspects related to product and service sales.
    • Counsel the sales team on technical knowledge and selling techniques.
  • Reporting and Communication
    • Prepare and deliver performance reports and strategic briefs to management.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (chemical or environmental preferred).
    • Proven experience in preparing proposals for water and/or wastewater treatment facilities.
    • Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment technologies and processes.
    • Demonstrated client collaboration experience, understanding market dynamics.
    • Minimum 5 years' experience in the water treatment sector.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Willingness to travel frequently within Southeast Asia.
    • Sound judgment, able to make informed decisions based on experience.
    • Proficient in report writing and presentation delivery.
    • A collaborative team player, eager to learn and work under pressure.
