Job Title:

Senior Technical Lead - Application Design

This role is for a highly skilled technical professional to lead our Application Design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing technical activities, supporting the Application and Engineering teams, and collaborating with customers to deliver high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Technical Leadership: Act as on-site technical lead to support obtaining required technical information, lead technical discussions with customers, and perform regular technical status reports.
  2. Project Execution: Plan labour requirements, lead testing and commissioning activities, and ensure relevant timelines are met.
  3. Documentation: Prepare and conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with customers, produce engineering submittals, and review technical choices compliance with design.
  4. Knowledge and Expertise: Knowledge in Programmable Logic Controller, SCADA, and DDC Controllers development and implementation for redundant system architectures on HVAC applications, including chiller systems.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with customers, consultants, main contractors, 3rd party vendors, and Schneider Electric PM & technical leaders to understand project milestones & deliverables and contribute to overall profitability of projects.
Qualifications:
  • University Bachelor/Master Engineering Degree
  • Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form
  • 5 years leading technical projects or as Solution Application Engineer for large and international Customer projects
  • 10 years in his/her technical field of expertise (HVAC and chiller control systems, BMS, Power monitoring systems, etc)
