Transformative Data Insights Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Transformative Data Insights Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights, driving informed decision-making.

Responsibilities
  1. Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive data reports and dashboards using Power BI and other reporting tools.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their reporting and analytical needs.
  3. Provide insightful recommendations based on data analysis, enabling data-driven decision making.
  4. Conduct full lifecycle analysis, including requirements gathering, activities execution, and design, to ensure high-quality results.
  5. Collect required data, analyze outcomes using statistical approaches, and provide ongoing reports to stakeholders.
  6. Recognize, evaluate, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets, providing valuable insights.
  7. Work closely with business stakeholders to collect and understand data requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  8. Create interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards that effectively communicate insights, facilitating stakeholder understanding.
Requirements

We seek a highly skilled and motivated candidate with:

  • 3+ years of proven experience as a Power BI specialist or similar role in a business environment.
  • Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, DAX, and M language.
  • Strong SQL skills for data retrieval and manipulation.
  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices.
  • Experience in data modeling and designing scalable data architectures.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Good report writing and presenting skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications

Ambitious candidates may also possess:

  • ETL data from diverse sources into Power BI using Power Query.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features, updates, and industry best practices.
  • Create documentation for Power BI solutions, including data models, report design, and data sources.
  • Establish and maintain data governance practices, including data lineage, version control, and metadata management.
