Translation Specialist

The primary objective of this role is to translate captions/subtitles for various media formats. This involves working with different types of media and software, ensuring the translation process adheres to high standards of quality and cultural relevance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in translation, with proficiency in Translation Management System tools and software. They will be responsible for editing Machine Translation Post Editing (MTPE) output and maintaining translation databases.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Translating captions/subtitles for various media formats
  • Editing MTPE output to ensure accuracy and cultural relevance
  • Maintaining translation databases using Translation Management Software
  • Providing quality assurance for the translation process

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Communications or Linguistics
  • At least four years of experience in translation
  • Proficiency in Translation Management System tools and software
  • Knowledge of translation processes, terminology, and localization techniques

This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines while maintaining high-quality translation services.
