Strategic Communications Specialist

The role of the Strategic Communications Specialist plays a key part in driving the development of data-driven pitch proposals for both existing and potential clients. Working closely with cross-functional teams, this individual will create compelling strategies that align with client objectives.

In addition to leading the development of pitch proposals, the Strategic Communications Specialist will train junior team members in advanced communication strategy, including training sessions on basic deck creation and presentation guidance. Furthermore, they will work with the Strategy Director to develop career development plans for team members, fostering professional growth and ensuring a high-performing team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive communication strategies to support clients' PR or Digital objectives, identifying target audiences, crafting key messages, selecting channels, and outlining tactics to achieve outcomes.
  • Conduct research to understand clients' industries, target markets, competitors, and trends; use findings to inform strategy and campaign insights.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to align objectives with agency deliverables.
  • Foster a collaborative environment through brainstorming and ideation sessions, generating innovative PR or Digital concepts.
  • Define campaign objectives, metrics, messaging, and coordinate cross-channel tactics aligned with client goals.
  • Stay updated on trends and technologies in PR and communications, monitoring media coverage and social media to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Review and evaluate campaign proposals to ensure high-quality deliverables.
