Job Overview

Senior DevOps Engineer Position - Pioneering Observability and Reliability Initiatives

We're seeking a Monitoring & Incident SRE professional to safeguard system uptime. This role focuses on building world-class observability, leading incident response, and driving reliability across our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Main Objectives:

  • Taking ownership of monitoring, alerting, and incident management for production systems
  • Designing dashboards, building alerting pipelines, and using automation to reduce toil while ensuring system uptime

Essential Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with monitoring & logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, SigNoz)
  • Skilled in scripting for automation (Python, TypeScript, or Bash)
  • Experience running and improving incident response processes
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and document learnings
  • Familiarity with distributed systems and cloud environments is beneficial

Requirements and Expectations:

Education and Professional Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years in SRE, DevOps, or IT Operations roles

Above and Beyond Expectations:

  • Experience in high-uptime or mission-critical environments
  • Knowledge of advanced reliability engineering practices (SLOs, SLIs, error budgets)
  • Familiarity with low-code automation tools for operational workflows
  • Open-source contributions to monitoring or incident tooling
  • Cloud certifications (AWS CloudWatch specialty, Google SRE track)
