Global Payroll Coordinator Job Description\

As a Global Payroll Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the payroll process for employees across the globe. This includes processing payroll for expatriates on split pay and consultants in local offices.

  • Process payroll for employees, including those on split pay and consultants in local offices.\
  • Review overtime schedules and upload them to the database.\
  • Calculate pro-rated salaries for new hires, terminations, and employees on leave.\
  • Maintain employee banking, tax forms, and payroll backup information files.\
  • Audit data changes in payroll output reports and research system errors.\
  • Review payroll status reports and communicate with HR and Benefits departments as needed.\
  • Respond to payroll inquiries from office administrators and department managers.\
  • Prepare the payroll funding schedule for Treasury and distribute payroll reports to Accounting.\

  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with all payroll regulations.\
  • Develop and implement effective payroll processes and procedures.\
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees and management.\
  • Work collaboratively with the global payroll team to achieve shared goals.\
  • Stay up-to-date with changing payroll laws and regulations.\

  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.\

  • The ideal candidate will have:\
    • \
    • At least 2 years of global payroll experience.\
    • High proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.\
    • Experience with Workday and ADP systems.\
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.\
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.\
    • Strong ethics and personal integrity.\
    • Overtime may be required during payroll processing weeks.\
    • An accounting background is an asset.\
