We are seeking a seasoned Financial Reporting Leader to spearhead the preparation of our financial statements and reports in compliance with relevant accounting standards. This is a key leadership role that requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and collaboration skills across departments.

">Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Manage the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, and equity statement.
  • Technical Accounting Research: Stay up-to-date on new accounting pronouncements and regulations, perform research, and implement new standards as required.
  • GAAP/IFRS Compliance: Ensure all financial reporting is compliant with applicable accounting standards.
  • Internal Controls: Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining strong internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Audit Liaison: Coordinate and manage the external audit process, preparing supporting documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.
  • Tax Reporting Support: Collaborate with the tax department to provide necessary financial information for tax filings.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the financial reporting process.
  • Variance Analysis: Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and provide insightful explanations to management.
  • Reporting to Management: Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to management, highlighting key trends and insights.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor financial reporting staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • System Implementation: Participate in implementing and maintaining financial reporting systems and tools.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA or CMA equivalent certification is strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on financial reporting.
  • Thorough understanding of GAAP or IFRS accounting principles and practices.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with ERP systems is highly desirable.
  • With experience in Data Analytics, Certified Data Analyst/Scientist with Power BI experience is preferable.
