Job Title: Senior Developer

We are a fast-growing internet service provider dedicated to delivering lightning-fast, reliable internet with exceptional service experience for all customers.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain and enhance existing systems with new functionality.
  2. Investigate and resolve reported issues.
  3. Guide maintenance and design of legacy and database systems/applications.
  4. Optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability.
  5. Inform design of robust and secure database applications.
  6. Developing test cases and testing of code developed by yourself and others.
  7. Provide support to the wider development team.
  8. Communicate with internal stakeholders to accurately scope and design system requirements.
  9. Maintain documentation for internal systems, APIs, and databases.
  10. Adhere to security best practices.
Key Selection Criteria:
  1. Demonstrate strong English language skills, both written and verbal.
  2. Be willing to work in Melbourne hours to align with company head office.
  3. Possess a Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
  4. Have 5+ years' experience in a similar role, ideally within telecommunications.
  5. Experience working in remote-based teams.
  6. Extensive experience on database design, implementation, and management.
  7. Strong understanding of SQL queries.
  8. Strong understanding of PHP and GitHub.
  9. Strong understanding of Laravel framework.
