Key Roles and Responsibilities

Payroll and Billing Managers are critical in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll operations while managing client billing processes across multiple countries.

This role is responsible for leading payroll processing across various jurisdictions, overseeing client invoicing, revenue recognition, and billing reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

It also involves ensuring payroll and billing compliance with local, state, federal, and international laws, as well as managing payroll queries and providing accurate, timely resolutions. Additionally, the role requires reconciliation of payroll and billing with general ledger, taxes, and benefits contributions.

System management is also a crucial aspect of this role, including overseeing payroll and billing systems, integrations, and process improvements. Collaboration with Finance, HR, and Operations teams is essential to align payroll and billing with accounting and business needs. Reporting on payroll and billing performance is also a key responsibility.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field.
  • 5+ years of payroll and/or billing experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of PH and AU billing regulations, tax, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing payroll and billing across multiple international jurisdictions.
  • Familiarity with payroll and billing systems (ADP, Gusto, Xero, NetSuite, Deel, or similar).
  • Strong reconciliation, reporting, and revenue recognition skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
