Job Description

As a skilled Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in uncovering early-stage investment opportunities by analyzing startup databases and financial metrics. Your expertise in transforming data into actionable insights will support the investment team's research efforts, enabling informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends and patterns, providing valuable insights for strategic business decisions.
  • Track industry trends, deal activity, and portfolio performance to stay ahead of market developments.
  • Support research initiatives, collaborating with associates and partners to drive data-informed recommendations.
  • Develop intuitive dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and market developments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or consulting.
  • Prior experience in startups or venture capital firms is highly valued.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in Python or R programming languages.
  • SQL querying skills for structured datasets.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Ability to work in U.S. business hours (Pacific Time, Central Time, or Eastern Time).
