We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Contact Center Collections Representative.
Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will be responsible for contacting customers with overdue accounts, negotiating payment arrangements, and maintaining accurate records while delivering excellent service.
- Contacting customers via phone to discuss outstanding payments.
- Negotiating payment plans and settlements in accordance with company policies.
- Updating customer accounts and documenting all collection activities.
- Following up on broken promises and maintaining consistent contact with debtors.
- Maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and confidentiality standards.
- Meeting daily and monthly collection targets and call quality standards.
- Handling disputes and escalating complex cases to the appropriate department.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- The ability to remain professional and calm under pressure.
- Fluency in English is required, and Spanish would be an asset.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in collections or a similar contact center role is an advantage.
