About a Key Support Role

This position plays a vital part in the team, focusing on supporting estimators by managing bid documents, organizing proposal submissions, and coordinating deadlines.

The role ensures that all bids are submitted accurately and on time, working closely with project managers, estimators, and clients to gather required information. Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and prepare bid packages and proposals for various construction projects.
  • Ensure timely submission of RFPs internally and compliance with requirements set out in the request for proposal (RFP) documents.
Document Management:
  • Manage and organize all bid documents, including RFPs, technical specifications, drawings, and other related documents.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with submission guidelines.
Team Coordination:
  • Work closely with the project manager, estimators, and other team members to gather necessary information for comprehensive bid preparation.
  • Independently manage workload calendars for assigned regions.
  • Extremely organized and meet workload demands and goals.
  • Track customer contacts, bidding the same project for estimators to send bids to.
Requirements:
  • Construction Industry Experience is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Mechanical Drawings is advantageous.
  • Proven track record of multitasking and Outlook email organization.
  • Excellent time management, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Highest levels of attention to detail to produce quality documents and ability to work under pressure and demanding deadlines.
  • Show a positive attitude towards customers and the team daily.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and understand prioritization.
  • Self-starter who works well in a team environment.
  • Exceptional desire to please customers.
