In this position, you'll work within IBM's Client Innovation Centers, delivering technical and industry expertise to public and private sector clients worldwide. These centers provide locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technologies.

Your role and responsibilities

As a software developer, you'll participate in the software development lifecycle, including design, code implementation, testing, and support. You will create software that enables clients' hybrid-cloud and AI journeys.

Primary responsibilities include:

* Translating graphic visual and interactive designs into presentation layers for highly interactive web and mobile applications using responsive design techniques.

* Developing prototypes and performing hands-on coding to integrate application user interfaces, leveraging technologies like CSS3, HTML5, PHP, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, jQuery, Dojo, and various APIs.

Required education

Associate's degree or college diploma required.

Required technical and professional expertise

• At least 1 year of experience in front-end development.
• Experience with front-end tools - Angular JS, React JS, Typescript, etc.
• Web application maintenance experience.
• Fluent Japanese language skills (speaking, listening, reading, writing).
• Able to work client-based schedules (day shift, mid shift, night shift) and in any IBM location.

Preferred technical and professional experience

JLPT N1-N3 certification preferred.
