Job Title: Environmental Manager

We are seeking a talented professional to lead the identification of potential environmental project pursuits and supervise the Aurecon process.

  • Lead teams in identifying and pursuing opportunities that align with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Oversee the preparation of proposals to secure new business, ensuring a robust strategy and competitive costing.
  • Manage project delivery and maintain relationships with clients as a core function of the role.
  • Provide guidance to team members, serving as a role model for quality output and timely submissions.
  • Conduct senior reviews of reports to ensure quality before client submission.
  • Handle administrative approvals for leave requests and project-related cash advances.
  • Monitor staff utilisation, billing, collections, and gross margins for projects, alongside other related tasks as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in environmental engineering or related field (preferred); Ph.D. in related sciences (alternative qualification).
  • Certifications: Registered EIA preparer with EMB-DENR.
  • Minimum of 10 years in Environmental Consultancy, including experience with international funding institutions (e.g., World Bank, ADB, UNDP, UNIDO, EU).
  • Expertise in Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) - Phases 1, 2, & 3, site closure, decommissioning, and waste management.
  • Proficient in Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) management, water resource management, and hazardous materials/occupational hygiene.
