Portfolio Growth Specialist

The Portfolio Growth Specialist is responsible for expanding the portfolio and revenue of assigned clients from a range of investment products. This includes Unit Investment Trust Funds, Mutual Funds, Personal Equity & Retirement Account (PERA) products, fixed income securities, collective investment schemes, and other investment products offered under segregated Accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage clients by providing tailored investment advice and solutions to individual and corporate clients.
  • Grow the investment assets under management (AUM) and revenue of the assigned clients.
  • Act as an account officer for basic segregated accounts.
  • Develop strong partnerships with branches and relationship managers.
  • Assist relationship managers in profiling and recommending investment products to clients.
  • Assist in providing market updates and insights.
  • Address investment concerns of clients.
  • Conduct product briefings and serve as a subject matter expert for investment training courses.
  • Assist in reviewing regulatory investment certifications.
  • Organize and facilitate financial wellness events and handle client queries and objections during these events.
  • Facilitate account opening of segregated accounts and ensure that all transactions are properly endorsed.
  • Support in addressing basic investment concerns of branches and clients.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a 4-year business course from a reputable university.
  • Proficiency in the investment sales process and product matching.
  • Strong knowledge of global market developments.
  • Able to apply relevant risks and policies in managing client accounts and recommending products.
  • Able to apply knowledge of the economic and market environment in recommending investment funds and fixed income instruments.
  • Able to clearly explain key economic and market developments and their impact on investment products.
