Financial Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Expert to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in overseeing the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process vendor invoices, freelancer/contractor payments, and production-related expenses accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify the accuracy of purchase orders, contracts, and company policies.
  • Manage vendor data, payment schedules, and resolve any payment inquiries.
  • Process employee reimbursements, per diem, and travel expense claims promptly.
  • Reconcile corporate credit card transactions and petty cash regularly.
  • Maintain accurate records in Xero and track project-related expenses effectively.
  • Prepare AP aging reports, payment forecasts, and monthly reconciliations on time.
  • Support month-end close, audit preparation, and compliance requirements as needed.
  • Monitor AP metrics and recommend process improvements continuously.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with CPA qualification required.
  • 5 years and up of AP experience, preferably in advertising or media.
  • Proficiency in Xero, Google Suite Applications, and advanced Excel functions.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Experience with production expense tracking and automated AP workflows is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
