Financial Transactions Coordinator

As a seasoned Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health of our organization by ensuring timely and accurate payment processing.
This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing vendor invoices, reconciling accounts payable transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records.
You will also be tasked with implementing and maintaining effective accounts payable systems and processes, communicating effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders, and performing data entry tasks as needed.
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, including financial reporting and auditing procedures. You should also be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and have experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and process vendor invoices for accuracy and approval
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and maintain accurate financial records
- Implement and maintain effective accounts payable systems and processes
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Perform data entry tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounts payable, including at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems
