Job Summary

As a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage pipeline build and maintenance per client tooling and standards, promoting consistency and efficiency.
  • Participate in the software development lifecycle, guaranteeing solutions meet availability, performance, security, and maintainability standards.
  • Monitor system metrics and health, analyzing reports to inform strategic decisions.
  • Support production and in-house systems; participate in on-call support, providing exceptional service to users.
  • Lead incident management, conduct root cause analysis, and perform post-incident reviews to drive process improvements.
  • Implement system security and resiliency measures, protecting against potential threats.
  • Improve processes within the program, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Monitor ISO 8583 financial transaction messages in a 4-party payment model, ensuring seamless transactions.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in site reliability engineering.
  • Mandatory card payment domain knowledge, including expertise in ISO 8583 financial transaction messages.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, PCF), and monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace).
  • Knowledge of NoSQL & SQL databases (MongoDB, Oracle, Postgres) and distributed systems/microservices.
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, Go, or similar programming languages, as well as Unix tooling and scripting skills.
  • Understanding of SLOs and SLAs, with experience in SRE/DevOps teams and principles.
  • Strong initiative, communication, and collaboration skills, with a passion for improving processes.
